Brixton Learning Collaborative (BLC)
The Brixton Learning Collaborative headteachers and steering group have been working together to come up with some themes and topics for teachers to research and consider, that can support our schools, staff and pupils.
To this end, pupils are put forward to take part in a small task force group to examine and share their school's Marking and Feedback policies and practice, with a view to learning from each other and presenting findings back to the Headteachers group.
Members of the group can share their school marking policies and from there examine:
- how response to feedback is handled
- how to demonstrate feedback
- next steps marking, frequency of marking, methods of recording.
- Outcome: that the task force should produce a presentation of best practice they have shared and learnt, that can be shared with all our schools and that they should share within their own school.
